Here’s how to make a strawberry cake at home in 8 simple steps.

Prepare the strawberries, puree fresh strawberries in a blender or food processor and set aside. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
Mix dry ingredients, in a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cream the butter and sugar, in another large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Stir until just combined.
Fold in strawberry puree, gently fold in the strawberry puree to the batter, ensuring it's evenly mixed.
Bake, pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and frost, let the cake cool completely before frosting. You can top it with fresh strawberry slices or strawberry-flavored whipped cream for a delicious finish.
