Ingredients, 1 liter of full-fat milk, cup of rice, cup of sugar , ripe mango puree cardamom powder, cashews and almonds.
Cook Rice in Milk, Boil the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan.
Add soaked rice and cook on low flame until rice is soft and the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
Add Sugar, Once the rice is cooked, add sugar.
Stir well and continue to cook until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add Cardamom and Saffron, Mix in the cardamom powder and saffron strands.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
Cool the Kheer,Remove the kheer from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Add Mango Puree, Once the kheer is cooled, gently fold in the mango puree.
Mix well until the puree is fully incorporated.
Garnish and Serve, Garnish with chopped cashews and almonds.
Serve chilled or at room temperature, perfect for Sawan fasting.
