Cook the mango pulp, in the same pan, add mango pulp and cook for 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Add milk or water and sugar, pour in the milk or water and sugar, stirring continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.
Mix in the roasted semolina, slowly add the roasted semolina while stirring to prevent lumps. cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.
Add ghee and cardamom, stir in the remaining 1 tbsp ghee and cardamom powder for rich aroma and smooth texture.
Cook until glossy, keep stirring until the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan and turns glossy.
Garnish and serve, garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm or chilled. enjoy your homemade mango halwa.
