Prepare Dal Filling, Cook chana dal until soft, drain, and mash with spices like cumin, coriander, garam masala, and salt.

Knead Dough, Mix whole wheat flour with water, a pinch of salt, and oil to make a smooth dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

Divide and Roll, Divide the dough into equal portions, roll out a small disc, and place a spoonful of the dal filling in the center.

Seal and Roll Again, Fold the dough over the filling, pinch the edges to seal, and gently roll it out into a paratha.

Heat the Tawa, Preheat a tawa or griddle on medium heat.

Cook Paratha, Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa, cook until bubbles form, then flip. Apply ghee or oil, and cook until both sides are golden brown.

Serve Hot, Remove from the tawa and serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
