Here's how to make delicious Mushroom Bhuna Masala at home in just 7 easy steps.

Heat the oil & saute aromatics, heat oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic & green chilies, stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cooking until the raw smell disappears.

Cook the tomato puree, add pureed tomatoes, salt, turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder. cook on medium heat until the oil separates.

Add mushrooms & bhuna process, mix in the sliced mushrooms and stir well. cook on medium heat until they release water and start absorbing the masala.

Add yogurt & garam masala, reduce the heat and mix in whisked yogurt and garam masala. stir well and let it cook until the gravy thickens.

Slow-cook for enhanced flavors, cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure the masala coats the mushrooms well.

Garnish & serve, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or jeera rice.
