Prepare the dough, in a bowl, mix kuttu flour, mashed potato, rock salt, and black pepper. add water gradually and knead into a firm dough.

Rest the dough, cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes for better texture.

Roll into small puris, divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a round puri using a rolling pin. use parchment paper if sticky.

Heat the oil, heat oil or ghee in a deep pan on medium flame for frying.

Fry the puris, gently drop the puris into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and puffed. flip and cook evenly.

Serve hot, drain excess oil and serve hot with vrat-friendly aloo sabzi or yogurt.
