Soak sabudana, rinse sabudana and soak it in water for 4-5 hours until soft.

Boil the mixture, in a large pot, boil 4 cups of water. Add soaked sabudana, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.

Season it, add salt, cumin seeds, and black pepper. cook until the mixture turns thick and translucent.

Prepare papad shapes, on a greased plastic sheet or plate, spread small spoonfuls of the mixture into thin, round shapes.

Sun-dry them, dry the papads under direct sunlight for 2-3 days, flipping them occasionally until completely crisp.

Store and fry, once dried, store in an airtight container. deep-fry in hot oil or roast on a tawa whenever needed.
