Here’s how you can prepare a delicious, restaurant-style mushroom curry at home in just 5 steps.

Saute the Mushrooms, heat 1 tablespoon of oil or butter in a pan. add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they release water and turn golden. set aside.

Prepare the Masala,in the same pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, then chopped onions. saute until golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste, and cook until fragrant.

Cook Tomatoes and Spices, add tomato puree and cook until oil separates. mix in turmeric, red chili, coriander, and cumin powders. stir and cook for a few minutes.

Combine Mushrooms and Cream, add sauteed mushrooms back in, along with salt and garam masala. stir in cream, if using, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the curry thickens.

Garnish and Serve, turn off the heat, garnish with fresh coriander, and serve hot with naan or rice. enjoy your simple and creamy mushroom curry.
