Prepare the guavas, peel and chop ripe guavas into small pieces, removing seeds and tough parts. set aside.
Cook the guavas, in a pan, add the chopped guavas, a little water, and cook over medium heat until soft.
Add spices, add spices like ginger, cumin, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and a pinch of hing. mix well.
Sweeten the chutney, add jaggery or sugar to the cooked guava mixture, adjusting sweetness to taste. stir until dissolved.
Simmer and blend, let the chutney simmer for 5-10 minutes. once thickened, blend it to a smooth or chunky texture, depending on preference.
