Here's how to make Sooji ka Halwa at home.

Roast the Sooji, heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, and add 1 cup sooji. roast on medium heat until it turns golden and gives a nutty aroma.

Prepare Sugar Syrup, in a separate pan, boil 2½ cups water with 3/4 cup sugar. stir until the sugar dissolves completely. you can add cardamom powder for flavor.

Mix the Syrup with Sooji, slowly pour the hot sugar syrup into the roasted sooji while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring often, until it thickens and the ghee starts to separate from the sides.

Garnish and Serve, add chopped dry fruits like almonds and cashews. mix well and serve warm.
