– 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
– 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
– 2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)
– 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
– Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
– Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
– In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir well to combine.
– Heat a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add a little oil if needed.
