Here’s a simple recipe for Nutella cupcakes:
– 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/2 cup Nutella (plus extra for frosting)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the Nutella until swirls appear in the batter. Do not overmix.
Spoon the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy these delicious Nutella cupcakes as a delightful treat!
