Here’s a simple and delicious berry mousse recipe:
– 2 cups mixed berries (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
– 1/4 cup sugar (adjust based on berry sweetness)
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
– Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
If using strawberries, hull and slice them. In a blender or food processor, combine the mixed berries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Gently fold the berry puree into the whipped cream until fully combined, being careful not to deflate the cream.
Spoon the mousse into individual serving cups or bowls and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours until set.
Garnish with fresh berries and mint leaves, if desired, before serving.
Enjoy this light and refreshing berry mousse as a delightful dessert!
