– Bread: 4 slices (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
– Eggs: 2
– Milk: 1/4 cup (or a non-dairy alternative)
– Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
– Red Chili Powder: 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
– Salt: to taste
– Black Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
– Cilantro: 2 tablespoons, chopped (optional)
– Green Chilies: 1-2, finely chopped (optional)
– Oil or Butter: for frying
– In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro (if using). Mix until well combined.
– Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
– Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated but not too soggy.
