Cook the patties on a skillet or grill pan until golden brown and cooked through. Toast the burger buns and prepare the lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add lettuce, a chicken patty, cheese, tomato, onion, and pickles. Spread ketchup and mustard on the top bun and assemble the burger. Ingredients:

For the Chicken Patties:

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  •  1 egg
  •  1 small onion, finely chopped
  •  2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

For the Burger Assembly:

  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  •  Tomato slices
  •  Onion slices
  • Pickles
  •  Cheese slices (optional)
  •  Mayonnaise
  •  Ketchup
  •  Mustard

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken Patties:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. The size of the patties should match the size of your burger buns.

2. Cook the Chicken Patties:

  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil it.
  •  Cook the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

3. Toast the Burger Buns:

  • While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them on the skillet or grill pan until they are golden brown.

4. Prepare the Vegetables:

  •  Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
  • Slice the tomatoes and onions.
  • Have the pickles ready.

5. Assemble the Burgers:

  •  Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  •  Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayonnaise.
  • Add a cooked chicken patty on top of the lettuce.
  • Top the patty with a slice of cheese (if using), followed by tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles.
  • Spread a thin layer of ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun.

6. Serve:

  • Place the top half of the bun on the assembled burger.
