1. Ingredients

– 1/4 cup sugar
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 large egg

For the Garlic Butter:

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 3-4 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
– 1/4 teaspoon salt

2. Instructions

Step 1- Prepare the Dough:

– In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
– In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups of flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg.
– Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, gradually add more flour until it’s manageable.

Step 2- Knead the Dough:

– Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
