1. Ingredients

– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt

2. Instructions

Step 1- Preheat Oven:

– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2- Cream Butter and Sugars:

– In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.

Step 3- Add Eggs and Vanilla:

– Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.

Step 4- Combine Dry Ingredients:

– In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
