Here’s a simple recipe for making delicious carrot chips:
– 4 large carrots
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel the carrots and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. You can use a mandoline slicer for even slices.
In a large bowl, toss the carrot slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you prefer.
Spread the carrot slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they aren’t overlapping.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and slightly golden.
Let the carrot chips cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them as a healthy snack or a crunchy side!
