Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for tortilla garlic bread that’s perfect as a snack or side dish!
– 4 large flour tortillas
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3-4 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese or mozzarella for extra flavor
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place the tortillas on a baking sheet. Spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each tortilla. If using cheese, sprinkle it over the buttered side.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and crispy. You can also broil them for the last 1-2 minutes for an extra crispy finish, but keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Cut into wedges or strips and serve warm.
