Prepare the custard mix: In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of custard powder with 4–5 tablespoons of cold milk. Stir until smooth without any lumps.
Heat the milk: Boil 2 cups of milk in a pan. Once it starts simmering, add sugar (about 3–4 tablespoons or as per taste) and stir well.
Add the custard mixture: Slowly add the prepared custard mix into the boiling milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook for 2–3 minutes until it thickens.
Cool and add mango puree: Turn off the heat and let the custard cool to room temperature. Then, mix in 1 cup of fresh mango puree (made by blending ripe mango pieces).
Chill and serve: Refrigerate the mango custard for 1–2 hours. Garnish with mango cubes, dry fruits, or mint leaves before serving.
