Bacon-wrapped smokies are a delicious and easy appetizer! Here’s a simple recipe for you:
– 1 package of cocktail sausages (smokies)
– 1 pound of bacon
– Brown sugar (optional)
– Toothpicks
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the bacon strips in half. If you like a sweeter flavor, you can mix brown sugar with the bacon.
Take a half slice of bacon and wrap it around each smoky sausage. Secure with a toothpick.
Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
