1. Ingredients
For the Stir-Fry:
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil for more flavor)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned or thinly sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas or green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2. Instructions
Step 1- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey (if using), and sugar (if using). If you prefer a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch mixture. Set aside.
Step 2- Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook for about 2 minutes, or until it starts to soften.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
